Trying to unlock the secret recipes of pizza hut and their delicious cheese stuffed crust pizza? Look no further, because I have a fantastic dish for you:

Ingredients

Crust

3/4 cp warm water

11/4 tsp’s yeast

1 tbsp sugar

2 1/4 cp’s bread flour

1 1/2 tsp’s salt

1 1/2 tbsp’s olive oil

8 oz’s mozzarella string cheese

Make the crust one day prior to baking. Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar in a medium bowl. Mix together. Let bowl sit for 5 minutes. In a large bowl mix flour and salt and make a shallow dip in the center of the mixture. Add oil and yeast-water mixture to the dip and combine using a fork until well mixed. Put the dough on a clean flat surface with flour. Start to knead the dough for three minutes. Continue for two minutes if the dough is not smooth. This should take about 1 minute. Rub a light coating of oil on dough and put into a baking pan.

Cover with a towel and store in warm place for 2 hours, until it doubles in size. Flatten the dough, and put it into an air-tight container and store in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Roll out the dough to 18 inches. Place dough on pan and make a ring around the edge. Line the edge with string cheese. Moisten the edge with water and fold over the dough to cover cheese. Score the center of dough with a fork. Lightly brush the dough with olive oil. Apply toppings and bake at 475 degrees F for 14- 15 minutes.

Image : http://www.flickr.com

If you have Cheese Allergy and we discount any possibility of this allergy being related to an allergy to milk, then you more than likely have what is call a Food Intolerance instead of an allergy. During the fermenting process the milk products are separated into Curds and Whey. Most of the proteins responsible for the allergy reactions are in the Whey byproduct produced and the Curd portion will normally have very little or none of the proteins.

Histamines sometimes occur naturally in foods and when ingested can mimic an allergic reaction. Fermented foods such as cheese, and sauerkraut contain histamine, especially Blue cheese, Roquefort, and Parmesan.

The human body contains an enzyme called Diamine Oxidase that is responsible for the metabolizing of histamines. When the histamine-metabolizing enzyme Diamine Oxidase is saturated and the enzyme cannot metabolize any more of the histamine ingested then an allergic like reaction can occur.

Symptoms are usually dose related and the amount of histamines ingested determines the severity of the symptoms. Symptom includes cramping, flushing of the skin, headache, heart palpitations and hypo tension. Symptoms are not usually life-threatening.

Another problem with eating cheese is that mold can grow on cheese. This mold can be closely related to penicillin. Penicillin allergies are usually associated with the penicillin injections but for anyone suffering from an extreme allergy to penicillin should avoid ingesting any.

If you suffer from mold allergies or if you are allergic to mold spores then mold growing on cheese can also be a problem. Never take a chance with your life. Be sure the cheese you eat is fresh and mold is not growing on it. Discard any cheese that has any type of discoloration on it that may indicate mold is growing it.

No mater what type of allergy you are suffering from their is a good chance that you can find relief from the allergy symptoms. Common Vitamins and over the counter products can help with Allergies such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Quercitin, and Bromellain.

Vitamin C is nature’s protective nutrient, essential for defending the body against pollution and infection and enhances the bodies immune system. Take 1,000 to 5,000 mg daily.

Vitamin E protects the lung tissue from inhaled pollutants and aids in the functioning of the immune system.

Quercitin is a well known flavonoid. Flavonoids are powerful antioxidants and can reduce inflammation boost the immune system and strengthen blood vessels and improve circulation. Quercitin is also known for its ability to block the release of histamines, thus reducing or preventing allergy symptoms. Take 500 mg twice daily.

Bromellain will enhance the absorption of Quercetin. Take 100 mg twice daily.

If you are Allergic To Cheese then find a good health care professional prior to starting any type of home treatment.

Always consult your doctor before using this information.

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Most of the time you know that the can of Parmesan cheese is in the fridge and that you pull it out for pasta and sprinkling on an occasional salad. But did you know that it can play an important part in your food garnishing as well? Since Parmesan is a hard cheese it holds it’s form when it is heated and then cooled. Which is great from a decorating stand point.

This means that you can use it to make baskets for salads and other uses you may have for it in your cuisine needs. Last year we had a dinner for 500 people and wanted to make a unique salad. We made a large rectangular frame out of tag board and put that on top of one of those fancy cooking mats you see in the Gourmet shops. We then spread a layer about a quarter of an inch thick of shredded Parmesan cheese inside the frame and baked it for about 3-4 minutes in a hot oven.

The result was a perfect rectangle of melted cheese. Next we turned it out on a large cutting board and carefully cut it into 5 long strips about 2 to 3 inches wide and while it was still warm we formed the strips into circles. When the circles cooled we had an edible salad container to put on a plate and fill with a pre-dressed salad. The actual evening was a blur for me as we moved very fast to assemble the salad with pear vinaigrette, Gorgonzola, grilled pears and candied walnuts. The guests were very impressed.

You can do this at home for a much smaller number of guests very easily. The process is fairly simple. To make a bowl out of Parmesan cheese you will need about 3 to 4 oz of shredded Parmesan cheese per bowl. Heat the oven to 350 and take a flat cookie sheet out. Decide the size of your bowl by taking out a small salad bowl and inverting it upside down on the counter. Now spread a circle of the Parmesan on your cookie sheet that is just a little bigger that the diameter of the inverted bowl. Smooth the cheese so that it is even and circular in shape. Now pop it into the oven for 3-5 minutes, it should melt but not get brown.

Now take it out of the oven and let it cool until you can comfortably touch it. Carefully loosen it with a spatula and pick it up and drape it over your inverted soup or salad bowl. Gently mold it to the bowl and then let it completely cool. in about 6 to 10 minutes you will have a fairly hard but edible bowl that you can use for a salad or bowls to hold fresh mozzarella balls that have been marinated in two kinds of pesto. (Basil and Red Pepper). This makes a great center piece for anti-pasto platters.

You can also make individual chips to serve as a base for individual Hors D’ Oeuvres. Simply spread 2 inch circles of Parmesan on your cookie sheet and bake for a few minutes. When you take them out of the oven loosen them with a spatula. You now have a full flavored cheese chip to serve as a base for a sauteed sea scallop. A tray of those will be a big hit at your next event.

Wine and cheese baskets are the perfect gifts as both represent a timeless treat, made of two items that have been enjoyed together for ages. Wine and cheese gift baskets are the ideal gifts for weddings and anniversaries, and adding a personalized touch to the gifts can make them all the more special. This timeless combination of wine and cheese is always appreciated by almost everyone who enjoys wine. The fact that different varieties of cheese enhance the flavor of the wine in most cases and vice versa is another reason for the popularity of this combination. However, for the complete enjoyment of this all time favorite combination, choosing the correct variety of cheese with the right brand of wine is extremely important. Wines usually go well with cheese that is from the same country or region. Acidic wines usually go well with acidic cheese.

Some of the commonly available varieties of cheese like blue cheese go well with

wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Zinfandel. The Brie variety of cheese goes well with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Cheddar cheese along with Riesling, Merlot or Shiraz varieties of wine is popular choice. Gouda along with Riesling Zinfandel, Merlot and Monterey Jack with Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Zinfandel is also a common favorite. Swiss cheese with Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir is another popular option. Roquefort goes well with Port wine while cream cheese and White Zinfandel make a nice pair.

Prices for these wine and cheese gift baskets range from $32 to $250. However, if rare wines are chosen, the price of the gift basket also goes up accordingly. Gift baskets can be stuffed with other favorite goodies of the receiver such as chocolates and wine accessories in order to give the wine gift baskets a personalized touch.

Image : http://www.flickr.com

One of the most commonly asked questions when it regards feeding your baby is, “What is the magic of yogurt and cheese that makes it OK to give to my baby before 1 year old? My pediatrician said not to feed my baby dairy prior to the age of 1 year old!”

The truth is, there is no great magic in yogurt or cheese. It is unfortunate that many medical professionals neglect to properly explain why it is fine to offer your baby cheese and/or yogurt earlier than the age of one year old. The most common reasons for it being allowed prior to age 1 year old are:

Unlike Whole Cow Milk beverage, your baby is not at risk of breast milk and/or formula being replaced by yogurt or cheese.
The medical community worries that if whole cow milk is introduced to an infant prior to 1 year old, that parents would stop formula and/or breastfeeding and use milk as the replacement. This would be dangerous to your baby’s health!

If there is any “magic”, it is that yogurt and cheese do have the advantage of lactose being broken down. As lactose is already broken down with the culturing of the yogurt or cheese, it is typically easier to digest. Many people with lactose intolerance are often be able to eat cheese and/or yogurt without trouble. The same is true for some people with a milk protein (either to the casein or the whey) allergy.

Why is Milk not recommended before age 12 months?

The medical community believes that many people would stop formula feeding and/or breastfeeding and start their kids on whole cow milk earlier than 1 year old, unless they were told not to. This is typically why pediatricians and nutritionists say that other milk products such as cottage cheese, cheeses and yogurt are fine.

Milk does not contain enough nutrients, vitamins or minerals for it to adequately and properly sustain an infant’s growth. Indeed, prior to 1 year old, the consumption of a large amount of dairy products may put baby at risk for iron deficient anemia. The most dramatic effects of whole cow milk are on iron levels in the body. Infants fed breast milk or iron fortified formula have normal iron levels. Milk impedes the proper absorption of iron. Iron intake is one thing that an infant can not afford to have cut down or cut out of the diet.

Additionally, whole cow’s milk protein and fat are more difficult for an infant to digest and absorb. “Infants fed whole cow’s milk receive inadequate amounts of Vitamin E, iron, essential fatty acids, and excessive amounts of protein, sodium, and potassium. These levels may be too high for the infant’s system to handle.” mercksource health

When will I be able to offer my baby yogurt or cheese?

Cheese is typically recommended at an age when your baby is able to mash foods with his or her gums or between 7-8 months old. Melted cheese makes a wonderful edition to a finger food meal of veggies and meats! As regards the introduction of yogurt, most pediatricians recommend starting your infant on yogurt around 7-8 months of age. Some pediatricians also recommend yogurt as a great first food (from 6 months+). Selecting a whole milk yogurt is the most beneficial to your infant as babies need fats in their diets for proper growth! You can buy plain whole milk yogurts made by such companies as Stonyfield Farm, Cascade Fresh and Brown Cow. You can also Make Your Own Homemade Yogurt! Stonyfield Farm makes the YoBaby brand that many parents know and love! However, using a large container of Plain Whole Milk yogurt will save you money (and save on added sugar) and give you the flexibility of adding your own flavorings to baby’s yogurt.

The above information applies to those who do not have a known milk allergy or a lactose intolerance, or a familial history of same. As always, you should thoroughly discuss the introduction of foods with your baby’s personal pediatrician!

This is a very good recipe. Catfish with cheese has a luxury feel to it without being too expensive or to fat. This said, Catfish with cheese are not a suitable recipe if you are on a diet. This dish is suitable for everything from the Sunday diner with guest to the everyday family dinner. It is a rather easy dish to cock.

You will need the following ingredients to make Catfish with cheese:

8 fillets catfish ( 8 fillets equals about 4 ounce)
1 tablespoon milk
1 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup melted margarine
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon paprika

This recipe gives about 8 servings catfish with cheese.

Making this dish is as I said earlier easy. Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C. Crack the eggs into a bowl and add the milk to the eggs. Beat the mixture. Take another bowl and mix the pepper, salt, paprika, parmesan and flour in the bowl and stir well. Once you done this it’s time to pan the catfish. Dip the fish filets first in the egg milk mixture and then in the cheese panning. Make sure to cover the entire filet with cheese mixture.

Put the dipped fish on a baking dish and poor melted butter over it. Once you done this you are almost done. Put the baking dish in the oven for 15 minutes and start setting the table.

Enjoy

Ruby Tuesday has great food. I’m sure you know what I mean if you have ever dined there. I love the burgers, steaks, salad bar, and everything in between. They are one my top restaurant choices if I want a burger or a salad for dinner. Ruby Tuesday has other delicious food too. I just recently started researching Ruby Tuesday recipes. I was surprised at the amount of information available. If you are struggling to pay your bills in a tough economy, you might want to consider making some of these Ruby Tuesday recipes at home. If you want to try three Ruby Tuesday recipes, here are my top three recommendations along with the accompanying recipe.

Preheat a grill for high heat.

In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, minced onion, egg and crackers using your hands. Form into four fat patties.

Place patties on the grill, and cook for about 5 minutes per side, until well done.

Ruby Tuesday Crab Cakes

Remove any shell from crab. In a medium bowl, toss together crushed Saltine cracker crumbs, egg, parsley and mayonnaise until moistened, but do not over mix. Add salt and pepper.

Form into five or six cakes, 1/2 to 3/4 inches thick. Place in refrigerator on cookie sheet for at least one hour so they will set up. Sprinkle lightly with cayenne or Morton’s Hot Salt and onion powder.
